Sean Gormley is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he is the Head of Real Estate Tech. Gormley has been with Morgan Stanley since 2013, where he advises companies across the lodging, hospitality & leisure and real estate technology sectors, in addition to the broader real estate industry. He has advised on and executed numerous M&A transactions, IPOs and public and private capital raises totaling $150Bn+ in transaction value.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Gormley worked in real estate development and construction management in addition to serving as an Infantry Officer in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Management, in addition to receiving a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
