John Ghirardelli is an Executive Director and Americas Head of Digital Infrastructure at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners in New York, where he leads digital and communications infrastructure investments across the Americas region. Ghirardelli oversees and leads the platform’s investments in Lightpath and Flexential. He previously helped drive global digital infrastructure principal investing at Macquarie Capital and held senior roles at American Tower Corporation, overseeing the development and acquisition of towers, data centers, fiber, and other next-gen wireless assets. Earlier in his career, Ghirardelli worked at TowerBrook Capital Partners and Merrill Lynch. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
