Ankur Shah is the SVP of Capital Markets and Hotel Investing at Marriott International. Prior to that, Shah was the Chief Financial Officer of Access Point Financial, a $3B real estate private credit firm. Shah oversees capital markets, investor relations, and all finance and accounting functions, and is instrumental in developing and executing investment and operating strategies for the firm. Prior to joining Access Point, Shah was an executive at SunBridge Capital Management, a multi-strategy private equity firm, where he made direct investments in real estate, asset management, specialty finance, healthcare, and education businesses. Prior to SunBridge, Shah was involved in over $1.5B of hotel transactions spanning acquisitions, dispositions, and financings at DiamondRock Hospitality Company (NYSE: DRH) and Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH). Shah earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and graduated with a BSBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
