WIRE Trek Empowers Future Real Estate Leaders

On Thursday, March 26th, undergraduate members of the Women in Real Estate (WIRE) club traveled to New York City for their annual Career Trek. 

The trip began with a memorable dinner with the women of the Georgetown University Real Estate Alliance (GUREA), where students had the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry and form connections. The next day, students embarked on a property tour of Brookfield Place led by the Brookfield Properties team, after which students were able to take part in a direct access session with practitioners. 

Next, the group visited JPMorgan, where members met with current analysts and associates on their Real Estate Americas team and toured the new JPMorgan Chase headquarters at 270 Park. 

The trek concluded with a visit to the BGO office, where students learned about various career paths within the commercial real estate industry, and had the opportunity to ask questions. 

Overall, the 2026 WIRE Career Trek was an enriching experience for members to form connections, build community, ask thoughtful questions, and gain valuable insight into the commercial real estate industry.
