In mid-November, 17 undergraduates from the Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF) traveled to New York City for a two-day real estate trek, gaining firsthand exposure to a wide range of firms shaping the global real estate industry. The group met with professionals from Town Lane, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Blackstone, Tishman Speyer, Sculptor Capital Management, and Affinius Capital. Lastly, the students were able to tour JP Morgan’s new headquarters in between meetings. Each of these companies provided a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges across the real assets spectrum.
