On September 18th, the Steers Center for Global Real Assets hosted BREW: Breakfast with Sue Carras from JLL, an event highlighting women leaders in real estate. BREW, which stands for Badass Women in Real Estate, featured a fireside chat with Sue Carras the Senior Managing Director at JLL, who shared her perspective on current dynamics in the capital markets and JLL’s role in the evolving real estate landscape.

The event welcomed about 45 attendees, including undergraduate members of WIRE (Women in Real Estate), the Steer’s Center student organization for women interested in the industry, as well as students from the Master’s in Global Real Assets program and the MBA real estate concentration. In addition to the engaging discussion, the event offered a valuable opportunity for students to build connections and network with professionals and peers across the real estate space.
